Dreams are of three kinds: God’s good tidings, reflection of one’s deeds and Satan’s threat. When one of you has a good dream, s(he) can narrate it to others if s(he) so wills, and should the reverse happens, s(he) has to narrate it to nobody, rising instead to prayer.
Holy Prophet Muhammad al Mustafā (s.a.w.w.)
Nahj al Fasahah; Tradition No. 518; Page No. 74&75

Dreams are of three kinds: Satan’s threat to sadden the son of Adam, man’s wishes during the day dreamt at night, and one part of the forty-six parts comprising prophethood.
Holy Prophet Muhammad al Mustafā (s.a.w.w.)
Nahj al Fasahah; Tradition No. 519; Page No. 75
